Dharma Jyothi social Centre with collaboration of Usha sewing machine company organized a demonstration of sewing machine for Dharma Jyothi tailoring students on 31 August 2023. The company representatives gave demo on modern machine and informed how to use and take care of machine for better stitching. After this session a film was shown on awareness of human trafficking and health kits distributed for 45 women who participated in this program.

Dharma Jyothi Social Centre in colabaration with Companio organized Health Awareness Programme for the public of vamanjoor on 4 September, 2023 at Dharma Jyothi Social Centre, Vamanjoor. Campanio South India wellness expert Manager Mr. SitharamShetty was the resource person. He gave the information about health tips and the use of foot pulse therapy. Rev. Fr. James DsouzaThe Parish priest of Vamanjoor and Sr. Joel, the coordinator of Dharma Jyothi wished well for the program. Around 100 people were present to this program. 265 people benefited from the program for 15 days free foot pulse therapy. Mrs. Usha welcomed. Mr. Chandrashekar gave proposed vote of thanks and Mrs. Renita compered the program

Dharma Jyothi Social Centre organized an Awareness Program on Organ Donation from Mohan Foundation sponsored by SBI on 10thSeptembeer 2023. Mr. AjithDavasaya, the program officer of KMC Manipal was the resource person. He gave information through power point presentastion about organ donation of brin death and how to make a donor card 176 benefitted through this programme. Sr. joelLasrado SRA, the co-ordinator of Dharma Jyothi Social Centre welcomed the gathering and Mrs Sylvia D costa thanked everyone. MrsLeenaFernandes compared the program. All were awarded with health kit and departed after lunch.

Dharma Jyothi Social Centre Vamanjoor celebrated Girl Child Day at Ajji Mane AnganavadyEdurupadav on 21 September, 2023. Sr. Joel Lasrado was the resource person for the program. She gave awareness on women and girl child trafficking. MrsMalathi the supervisor of Women and Child Department spoke on female infanticide. Mrs. RathiShetty and Mrs. Sarasvathi were present. 42parents and children participated in this program. Ms.Prerana welcomed the gathering and Mrs. Renita thanked and compered the programme. As a token of this event all received a health kit each.

Dharma Jyothi conducteda meeting for revolving fund members on 29th September, 2023 at Dharma JyothiSocial Centre. The social worker of Dharma JyothiSocial Centre Mrs. Usha gave information about PM SvaNidhi scheme. She briefly explained the guidelines, objectives and benefits of the scheme. Mrs. Renita the social worker was present for this meeting. 20 members participated in this meeting.

Dharma Jyothi Social Centre, Vamanjoor supported by Arise Foundation in collaboration with School of Social Work, RoshniNilaya organized an Anti drug awareness against drug abuse on 29th September, 2023 at 3 locations in Vamanjoor - St. Raymond’s College, Vamanjoor Church Street and St. Joseph’s Engineering College. The impact message of “Drug Free Mangalore” was effectively conveyed through Compelling Street Play led by Professor Vineetha K. and students of RoshniNilaya. This Initiative aims to promote a drug free and healthier community. 300 students from Raymond’s College, 1500 students from St. Joseph’s Engineering College and 200 people participated in this programme.
