MakkalaMela2024 (Children’s Day Celebration)

Dharma JyothiSocial Centre organized a ‘MakkalaMela’ on 18th November 2024 atVidyaJyothiEnglish Medium School Mantap,Vamanjoor.SrMarylit (SRA) Superior - Queen of Apostles ConventVamanjoor, inaugurated the programme.

Dr. SrAshalathaCrasta BMS SRAconducted an informative session on first aid, demonstrating treatments for common injuries and emergencies. Rev. Fr Paul D’souza entertained the children through Magic Show. Volunteers from I.C.Y.M unit Vamanjoor conducted various games and activities.Mr Vijay Kotian, the senior reporter of Vijaya Karnataka Newspaper inspired the children with an address emphasizing the importance of leading a value based life.

Director of Dharma Jyothi Social Centre Rev. Sr Joel Lasrado distributed the prizes to the winners and gifts to all the children. Total 340 children and 160 parents were present. The programme was concluded by playing water games which brought immense joy to the children.
