INAUGURATION OF TAILORING CLASS AT EDURUPADAVU

On May 23, 2023 the new Tailoring Centre was inaugurated by Dharma Jyothi Social Centre at Edurpadavu village Vamanjoor. The coordinator of Dharma Jyothi Sr. Joel Lasrado along with the vice president of Grama Abivriddi Sangha, Mrs. Sharada inaugurated the function by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp. Mrs. Dilshad welcomed the guests. Rehena gave vote of thanks and Kumari Sakshi compered the program. Sr. Joel in her key note addressed to the tailoring students on empowerment and thus to be self-reliant. 52 women and children actively participated in this program.

SUMMER CAMP AT EDURUPADAVU

Dharma Jyothi social centre conducted a day’s summer camp for the children of Edurupadavu village on 20 May 2023. Sr. Joel, Fr. Steevan Cutinho and Fayaz Kalladka MSW students of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya made aware the importance of values in their life. There were lots of games and fun which children enjoyed very much. Mr. Fayaz through short clippings made them aware of the advantages and disadvantages of social media. 72 children enjoyed the day’s program
