Awareness Safety measures of Children on Anti trafficking

Dharma Jyothi Social Centre Vamanjoor in collaboration with S.D.M Mangalajyothi ITI, Vamanjoor organized a programme on 22nd January 2025 on the topic of Safety measures of Children on anti trafficking. Resource person MrsRenita Lewis spoke on measures to be taken for the safety of children. 123 high school students benefited from this programme.

Awareness Programme on “Legal Aid for Women and Anti Human Trafficking”

On 22nd January 2025, Dharma Jyothi Social Centre Vamanjoor organized an awareness programme on “Anti Human Trafficking and Legal Aid for Women” in the Social Centre, Vamanjoor . Sr. Rency SRA, advocate provided information about free legal aid under the law and on anti human trafficking. Sr Joel Lasrado Director of Dharma Jyothi Social Centre gave introductory speech. 44 SHG members benefited from this programme.

Awareness Programme on Nutritional Food

On 23/01/2025, Dharma Jyothi Social Centre in collaboration with Mangalore University, Konaje (MSW) organized an awareness programme on Nutritional Food at St. Joseph the Worker Higher Primary School, Vamanjoor. Mrs. Usharani, Lecturer at Mangalore University, explained the importance of nutrition to the children through practical examples. 58 school children benefitted from this programme

Food Kit Distribution for Differently Abled at Kallamundkur Panchayat

On 30/01/2025 Dharma Jyothi Social Centre, Vamanjoor organized a food kit distribution programme for differently abled at Kallamundkur Gram Panchayat. The Director, Dharma JyothiSocial Centre, Sr. Joel Lasrado(SRA), addressed the gathering with her encouraging words. Sr. Hildegard(SRA) conveyed her blessings. Panchayat Vice President Mrs. Vidyalatha, PDO Mr. Prashanth Shetty and Gram Panchayat Member Sanjeev Poojary and others were present. A total of 21 differently abled received the food kits. Some homes of the disabled were visited.
