Dharma JyothiSocial Centre organized Shramadhanin Adyarpadav on August 8 2024. They cleaned around the house of an elderly couple who are suffering from Tuberculosis. 12 locals and M.S.W students were present. They were assisted with Tarpaulin to cover the roof and groceries to feed themselves.
‘Aatidonji Dina’ was celebrated on 11th August 2024 in YuvaJana SevaSanghaShalepadav. Different variety of traditional food items were prepared and brought by the members. 85 members of the committee were present along with Dharma JyothiStaff. It was a joy to recall the tradition and to pass on to the younger generation. All the members enjoyed eating together.
Dharma Jyothi Social Centre celebrated Independence Day on 15th August 2024 in collaboration with YuvajanaSevaSanghaShalepadav and GramaabhirudhiSanghaEdurupadav. Mr. Mallikarjun Sub- Inspector of Kavoor Police station was the chief guest who hoisted the flag. 48 people were present for the programme.
On August 25, 2024 a Career Guidance Camp was organized at Dharma Jyothi Social Centre for S.S.L.C and PUC students. The camp aimed to provide students with a clear roadmap for excelling in their future careers. Fr. Kenneth Crasta, Assistant Director of St, Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor led the session, offering valuable insights and guidance. The event was well- received, with 100 students benefiting from the program.
Dharma Jyothi Social Centre organized Vanamahostva on 30th August 2024 by planting 5 coconut saplings at Siddharth Nagar,Bajpe.
