Health Awarenessfor Senior Citizens

On 20th March 2023, Health awareness talk for Senior citizens was organized atDharma Jyothi Social Centre. 65 elderly persons of our working area have activelyparticipated. Rev. Sr. Anitha BS, the Co-ordinator of Sanjivini Social work CentreKinnigoli, was the Resource person. She spoke about ageism, their Physical andMental Health. She also said always be positive in life and take care of their ownhealth.
Mrs. Kavitha welcomed the gathering. Rev. Sr. Joel Lasrado SRA, the Co-ordinatorof Dharma Jyothi Social Centre was present for the programme. The programmewas concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Shalini. All the participants weregiven soap kit and blankets as a Centenary memory of the Missionary Sisters ofthe Queen of Apostles (SRA).

Awareness on Alcohol

People use alcohol to cope with stress but alcohol makes our life more worse. So Dharma Jyothi Social Centre organized an Alcohol awareness programme on 30th March 2023. 54 members have actively participated in the programme.
\Mr. Jayaraj A.A. delegate, G.S.O Bombay and Chairman of Alcoholics Anonymous Intergroup Dakshina Kannada and his team have shared their own past experiences and the present change in their lives and motivated the participants to join the Alcohol Anonymous Network camp which will be organized at St. Ann’s school campus from April 25th –May 5th 2023. Many were impressed by this programme and assured their co-operation.
