The event took place on 3rd January 2024 at St. Raymond High School premises, with Mr. Chandrashekar, a renowned speech therapist, serving as the resource person for the program, delivered an insightful talk on Antidrug Abuse and its effects on the youth. The speech was not only informative but also engaging, capturing the attention of the 75 students who actively participated in the program.
Dharma Jyothi Social Centre took a proactive step in promoting environmental awareness by conducting an Environment Protection Program for primary school children at D.K.G.P. Primary School, Kinnikambla, on January 4, 2024. Mrs. Renita, a dedicated social worker from Dharma Jyothi Social Centre, served as the resource person for the program, imparting valuable information on environmental pollution and emphasizing the importance of preserving nature. A total of 75 primary school children actively participated in this enlightening program, showcasing their enthusiasm for learning and contributing to environmental conservation efforts.
On January 6, 2024, Dharma Jyothi Social Centre hosted a talk on Nutrition and a Balanced Diet for Anganwadi school children's parents at AnganvadyCentre,Shalepadavu. Mrs. Renita, a dedicated social worker, provided valuable insights into the importance of nutrition for children's health. The informative session, attended by 55 parents, emphasized the significance of incorporating nutritious foods into daily diets, promoting healthy eating habits for both children and their parents.
On January 11, 2024, Dharma Jyothi Social Centre was honored to welcome Ms. Eva and Ms. Milena, esteemed guests from the Czech Republic. The Coordinator of Dharma Jyothi Social Centre extended a warm welcome, accompanied by the enthusiastic Dharma Jyothi staff. The visit commenced with a cordial reception, setting the tone for a day of collaboration and shared experiences. At the visitors' request, the sponsored child, SushanthBandhari, had the privilege of meeting Ms. Eva and Ms. Milena.As a part of the day's itinerary, a staff member guided Ms. Eva and Ms. Milena to the Pilikula Biological Park, allowing them to experience the region's natural beauty and biodiversity.
On January 25, 2024, DharmaJyothi Social Centre hosted esteemed guests from Joy for Kids Agency, Belgium - Ms. Danielle, Ms. Lieselot and Ms. Jorinde. The day featured cultural exchanges, a warm welcome from the Coordinator, and visits to a tailoring class and sponsored children's homes. A special program connected sponsored children with their Belgium guests, creating joyful and grateful moments. In the evening the guests departed, expressing appreciation for the warm hospitality and meaningful experiences.
